My Vision
“The goal is clear: to continue building a safe, strong, sustainable and connected King Township.”
What Constituents Are Saying
Let's Keep Up the Momentum…Responsibly
“As Mayor of King, I will continue to build on what has been achieved, not by starting over, but by strengthening the foundations that have made our community strong.”
There is still important work ahead, and my focus remains on completing the projects already underway while continuing to plan responsibly for King Township’s future. The next term will be about delivering on commitments, strengthening our communities and ensuring that growth is managed in a way that protects the quality of life that residents value.
A key priority will be completing Phase 2 of the Zancor Centre, including the outdoor recreation amenities such as pickleball courts, soccer fields, tennis courts and baseball facilities. These additions will build on the success of the facility and provide even more opportunities for residents of all ages to stay active and connected.
I also look forward to advancing the Nobleton Community Park redevelopment, creating a new year-round gathering place for residents. The park will feature a water feature during the summer months that will transform into a refrigerated ice surface in the winter, providing recreation opportunities throughout the year.
Beyond these projects, my priorities include updating King’s Economic Development Plan, establishing the East Humber Park, a 600-acre park preserve, and attracting a major employer to broaden our employment tax base and support long-term financial sustainability. I will also continue working to complete the King City and Nobleton Block Plans, advance the update to the 2051 Official Plan, and invest in our roads to improve safety, quality and reliability.
The goal is clear: to continue building a safe, strong, sustainable and connected King Township - one that manages growth responsibly, invests in the infrastructure and services residents need, and protects the character that makes our communities such a special place to call home.
